How to contact us

1.     Whole farm

The farm is booked as a whole. You have the entire building and grounds to yourselves (there is no "owners' flat or annex").

2.    Letting period

In principle, the farm may be reserved for one or more periods of 7 nights, Saturday (arrive after 16.00) to Friday (depart the following day, a Saturday, before 11.00). If you would like to request a different period, please send an email.

2.    Booking and payment

There is a booking deposit of 30 %, non-refundable in case of cancellation, unless the farm is re-let. The balance, also non-refundable in case of cancellation, unless the farm is re-let, is payable 4 weeks before arrival, together with a refundable security of Euro 500 to cover damage to the farm or its contents, or if the farm is not left tidy and clean.

3.    Bed linen and towels

You are asked to bring your own sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases and towels. Towel sets are also available at Euro 9 per person per stay; and sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases at Euro 19 per person per stay. This can be taken out of the security if you prefer.

4.    Cleaning

We ask you to tidy and clean the farm as you found it. If you prefer there is a supplement of Euro 150 to have the farm cleaned when you leave. This can also be taken out of the security if you prefer.

5.    Telephone and internet

There is a telephone for incoming and local outgoing calls. There is a broadband high speed internet connection (re-ADSL). We provide the modem, logon and password, but no technical support.

6.     Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, coffee percolator, fondue, raclette, food mixer, etc.).

7.    Miscellaneous

If you wish to smoke, please do so in the garden, not in the farm. Dogs are fine downstairs (but not in the bedrooms please).

We are flexible about the number of people staying in the farm, within reason. It can comfortably accommodate 14 or 15 people. If you plan to have more than this (not counting children under 3), please let us know in advance.

You may eat or drink what you find.

Please note there is also a baby cot, a play pen and a high chair in the farm.

The farm has a very efficient wood-burning stove that heats the entire living space and is the main source of heating. There is also a large open fire. Fire wood is included in the price. There are also electric heaters in almost all rooms (thanks for using them sparingly and turning them off when you are out). If the outside temperature falls below 12°, under-floor heating automatically operates during the night.

There is a TV for video/dvd. There are no TV channels.

The top bedroom is reached via steep stairs (click here to see photo of stairs), through the rafters, curtained-off (click here to see photo of access and curtain). It is not independently heated, but kept warm by the heating of the main living space.

The bed in the pink room is 110 cm wide and 180 cm long, so suitable for one or possibly two people, but not tall people. There are also one double and two single futons in the farm.

There is a large back garden - including a breakfast terrace with 2 tables and 8 chairs. There are 8 steps to a flat area of about 100 mē for sitting and playing, with a picnic table, child picnic table, 4 sun loungers, a parasol and a barbecue (in the shed). There is a further 3000 mē field (at about 25° slope) for children to play (sometimes it has cows in it), leading directly into woods and onto the mountains behind.

There may sometimes be one car in the double garage.
